You MUST read the full Terms and Conditions before making a booking. Note in particular:
- Bookings for any event may be refused without giving a reason. Bookings for parties for 15-19 year olds will not be accepted.
- The premises are NOT licenced for the sale of alcohol. The hirer must either use a caterer who has a licence or obtain one from Maldon District Council.
- Music MUST cease by 11:30pm and the premises vacated before 11:59pm. If music is played (live, streamed or recorded), you MUST select a music licence on the booking form.
- If you wish to make a regular booking every week or every month, contact us with the details to check availability; special rates may apply.
Main Hall
The Main Hall is the perfect choice for hosting larger functions, providing a setting for various events. With a capacity to accommodate up to 160 guests for wedding receptions and dinner dances, and up to 270 guests for concerts, it offers ample space for your special occasions.
To ensure a comfortable and pleasant environment, the Main Hall is equipped with underfloor heating and air conditioning, allowing you and your guests to enjoy the event regardless of the weather. Moreover, the hall is fitted with an acoustic loop and noise limiter, ensuring optimal sound quality and adherence to noise regulations.
As part of the hire package, you’ll have access to a well-equipped stage, ideal for performances, speeches, or presentations. Additionally, the extensive kitchen facilities and bar servery are included, making it convenient to cater and serve refreshments during your event. Names of local caterers familiar with the kitchen facilities are available on request.
Small Hall
The Small Hall offers a versatile and adaptable space, perfect for hosting smaller functions and gatherings. Whether you’re planning a family celebration, a children’s party, or a business meeting, the Small Hall caters to a variety of events.
It is also an excellent choice for a meeting room for your business or community gatherings. With a capacity to accommodate up to 70 people, it offers ample space for discussions, presentations, and collaborative sessions. The room can be set up in various configurations to meet your specific meeting requirements.
Conference Room
The Conference Room serves as an excellent venue for small business meetings or presentations. It has a bright, airy, and comfortable ambiance, providing a conducive atmosphere for productive discussions and presentations. The seating and table arrangement in the room are flexible, accommodating up to 24 delegates to ensure everyone’s comfort and engagement.
Free WiFi internet access is provided, enabling participants to stay connected and access essential resources during the meeting. Additionally, the room is equipped with projection facilities, allowing for dynamic and impactful presentations. Light refreshments and buffet meals for your event are available upon request.
Club Room
The Club Room, located at the Football Pavilion in Great Totham Road, is suitable for parties and gatherings for up to 40 people. It features casual seating and a bar area and has an outdoor area with picnic benches.
